WAITING ON LOVE AT HAWTHORNE AVENUE is a standalone read with a happy ending. There are a couple of sexy scenes but they are not graphic and I don't see how anyone could be offended by them. The story is set in Puget Sound, Fireweed Island off the coast of Seattle.Renee is a young woman, a yoga instructor that turned her yoga training into a very successful business. She has recently moved to Fireweed to a house her Aunt Vi left to her. She left her candy shop in town to Renee's sister. Renee is finding that all she wanted in life is turning out to be not what she wants at all. The business, sessions of yoga on the beach that goes to the internet, training in the studio, etc. is all just too much. She is losing her love of yoga and is starting to feel like she has an empty spot in her heart that needs filling.Decker, an underwater welder, is visiting his brother's family that has recently moved to the island. He meets Renee when she finds his journal on the beach and returns it to him. There is an instant connection. They fall hard and fast and make a great love story. I couldn't put it down once I started. I loved every word.It is full of fun, love, adventure, misunderstandings, forgiveness and of course her mother is quite a fun character. She is so full of it that it almost steals the book. And of course there are a lot of other side characters that are just as great. I highly recommend this book to everyone.
